Just when things were getting interesting...

We're going abroad for a couple of weeks.

Abroad? Well, the UK, which is abroad for us.

As the family have chosen to live at the UK's extremities (for the Blue Cat outpost to go further would be silly, ho ho) fitting them all in means several trips a year.

If you see a French-registered sage green Peugeot van with a tendency to drive on the wrong side of the road, give us a wave.

Happy days.

Ooooh how exciting. If you are passing through Essex...call in. Always a cup of tea (well depending on what time it is) and a piece of chocy cake at the ready.

have a lovely time

(word ver: carefree)

Please call in. I will do my best to entertain.

Oh yes call in do, it won't be as entertaining as Vic because he can spell and is witty, nor will the cake be as good as Sarah's because no doubt she can cook, but I am a dab hand with a corkscrew and a take away!

Norfolk isn't quite as extreme as Lowestoft, but is only half an hour away - and twenty minutes (in the other direction) from Dave. Have a wonderful time, whether or not you visit any of us.

Bon Voyage.
Remember to avoid Farnworth.

Has he already gone then?

All these invitations to stop over, eat, drink, eat some more, then desert. Sounds like you can get on the road and save a bunch on food and lodging. Think you get any of those fine friends of yours to pay for your petrol? (we call it gas over here, like when we gas up).
Anyway, the same invites generate from here. And we drive on the correct side of the road. If you're ever in the neighborhood, I'd be honored to have you stop by.

Peace and a safe journey
