Beastly rotten swiz

No one managed the desired identification from four days ago, so once again the prize (Burkhardt's Travels in Nubia, 1st edn, bound in morocco, spine slightly damaged) is withheld until next year.

L-R : Perowne, a submariner - Beaumont, a boulevardier - Chris - Sheba the lab assistant (thank you, Rog.) - Mr Putnam, a mustachio'd usher.

Well if I had known that was the prize, I might have tried a little harder.

If only we knew then what we know now...

...I'd have got better marks in my exams.

And won the lottery.

There was no "contest closes" date given in your March 18th post nor mention of that most excellent prize; had there been, I would have dropped all of my usual activities, located my magnifying glass, and pored over that fascinating photo for hours. Please include closing date and prize to be won in the next test of your readers' acumen, Christopher!

P.S. Why did your school have an usher?

You haven't changed a bit, Chris.
